I’m not really a fan, but it does show our support of the ever-growing Nike/UO corporate enterprise. Nice to have Goliath in your corner.

Avalon to SYD

A few final pics from Melbourne as we sit in the airport on the way to Sydney. There are a few from the AFL game that friend Andy was kind enough to take us to. Melbourne versus Collingwood. Slaughter.
Although we did more than this (I beat up on some kid at Street Fighter 4 at the casino), this is all I’ve got for you. Deal.
Lock Your Knee

If I have to hear those words uttered one more time, I am just going to flip out. Just got out of a great yoga sesh tonight. The one great thing about being stationary is that you know where all of your favorite activities are and you can take classes/find your favorite food. Thanks Bik for the stretch. Regards.
Woody High!

Nike just released another commercial under the auspices of being an artsy and small-time athletic shoe company. This time though, they’ve used my old neighborhood and my beloved Wilson High School in it. Why, of all the places and towns in the world, did they choose this neighborhood? Maybe Wieden & Kennedys’ travel budget ran short so they just hopped on Barbur and looked for something to shoot. Check it:
Conquering Xi’an

We circumnavigated the city yesterday on the wall. Takes about 3 hours to do the whole thing. Apparently this thing used to protect Xi’an citizens from the Trix rabbit when they were clearly just trying to enjoy their breakfasts.
Here we have outdoor gyms, card rooms, and concerts. The full spectrum. Regards Xi’an.
Van Dammage

After climbing the peak again the other day, I realized something. Van Damme was here. And not just for any reason, he was here because of a little movie that changed my life: BloodSport. If you’ll recall (and I know you will because you’ve seen it 90 times like me), Van Damme meditates before his big fight with Chong Li by doing the splits above Hong Kong while performing some Tai Chi:

Here’s the same veranda he was in:

We also ended up teaching our Australian mates some beer pong in Hong Kong. Beer Kong. Or Pong Kong. It was also rooftop pong, which now makes land, sea, and air:
